Abstract
Abstract Layered double hydroxide (LDH)/elastomers and LDH/elastomeric blend nanocomposites have shown tremendous improvements in their properties. As a result, they find multifaceted applications in many fields. In view of this, this chapter reviews recent advances in the mechanical and dynamical mechanical properties of LDH/elastomers and LDH/elastomeric blend nanocomposites fabricated from the polymers such as polyurethane (PU), ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM), silicone rubber (SR), styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), carboxylatedacrylonitrile butadiene rubber (XNBR), and natural rubber (NR), etc.
