Abstract
Error handling is crucial in any database application and is the most complex part of it. However, it has not received sufficient attention. No systematic techniques have been proposed for the verification of error handling in database applications. This paper proposes a metric suite for measuring the post-transaction error handling in database applications. The measurement helps in verifying the appropriate provision of post-transaction error handling during the development of database applications.
