Abstract

Sanchez et al.1 reported on ‘Adherence to the Mediterranean diet and quality of life in the SUN Project’, finding that higher levels of adherence were associated with higher self-perceived health-related quality of life (HRQL) in a cohort of university graduates in Spain. I am concerned that their dietary adherence measurement may have inflated the actual dietary quality of the study population, thus reducing the impact of their results.
