Abstract

Yields have been measured of approximately 50 spallation products from 590 MeV protons on thin natural targets of copper, nickel, iron and aluminum. Non-destructive γ-ray spectrographic techniques have been used in the analyses allowing yield determinations for the short-lived (i.e., T 1 2 ≧ 10 s ) spallation products. Measured yields are compared to yields calculated using the current formulae.
