Abstract
Results on the charm quarkonia production in SNN = 200 GeV Au+Au collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) are presented. The J/ψ yield was measured at the PHENIX experiment via the μ+μ− decay channel at forward‐rapidity and via the e+e− channel at mid‐rapidity. The nuclear modification factor and the mean square of the transverse momentum of Jψ at forward‐rapidity and mid‐rapidity are shown as a function of collision centrality and compared to theoretical calculations.
