Abstract

The integrated intensities and spectral absorption coefficeints of water vapor in the 1·38μ, 1·87 μ, 2·7 μ and 6·3 μ spectral regions have been measured at temperatures up to 1000°K. The experiments were performed in a specially designed, high-temperature absorption cell using self-broadening to remove the rotational fine structure.
