Abstract

Isobaric vapor–liquid equilibrium is measured at 0.15 and 0.6 MPa for binary mixtures of butyl acetate with 2-propanol and 2-butanol. The experimental data are reported and the thermodynamic consistency is verified by using the point-to-point test. Prediction of these binary systems was obtained by employing the analytical solutions of groups (ASOG) and the different versions of UNIQUAC functional-group activity coefficients (UNIFAC) group contribution models. The perturbed chain-statistical associating fluid theory (PC-SAFT) equation of state has been used to reproduce experimental data.
