Abstract

A brief description is given of a measurement system for calibrating the neutron apparatus used in the control-rod systems of transport nuclear power-generating systems. The complex includes an O1-T-34 neutron source, a KRONA II-13 standard radiometric setup, and a collection of neutron-activation detectors for measuring the neutron characteristics on the outer surface of the neutron detectors being calibrated. The neutron characteristics of OI-T-34 are presented: neutron energy averaged over the spectrum, the flux density of thermal and fast neutrons, and others. 5 figures, 1 table, 6 references.
