Abstract

We present the current status of inclusive and exclusive measurements of the Cabibbo‐Kobayashi‐Maskawa matrix element Vub at Belle. The exclusive measurements use the reconstruction of the accompanying B meson via the semileptonic B → D*lv decay to increase the purity of the signal. The inclusive measurements are performed at the endpoint of the electron momentum spectrum, or in three kinematical regions: a selection based on the hadronic invariant mass MX, a combination of MX and the leptonic invariant mass squared q2, and the hadronic light‐cone momentum P+. The measurement in three kinematical regions is done on a sample where the decay chain of one of the B mesons was fully reconstructed, which offers currently most precise measurements of Vub.
