Abstract
The article presents results of laboratory and field experiments on measuring the discharge of suspended matter-bearing flows using segmental orifice plates inserted at the upper section of horizontal pipes. The relationship between generalized characteristics of the flow and characteristics of the constituent fluid and solid phases is examined.
