Abstract

We measure the branching fraction and the CP-violating asymmetry of B0→KS0π0 decays with 227 million Υ(4S)→BB¯ events collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e− collider at SLAC. We obtain a branching fraction B(B0→K0π0)=(11.4±0.9±0.6)×10−6 and CP-violating asymmetry parameters CKS0π0=0.06±0.18±0.03 and SKS0π0=0.35−0.33+0.30±0.04, where the first error is statistical and the second systematic.Received 4 March 2005DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.71.111102©2005 American Physical Society
