Abstract
There are a lot of techniques for the measurement of the jet noise. The Optical Wave Microphone System is one of techniques for the measurement of sounds by using a laser. This technique is able to measure the sound without particle and membrane, and therefore, it is able to measure the jet noise without disturbing jet flow but the details of the characteristics for measuring jet noise were not determined. In this paper, we make acoustic characteristics of this system for measuring clear, and give an account about serviceability of this technique for the measurement of jet noise.
