Abstract
Aluminum and iron slabs were bombarded by the 22 MeV electron beam from a linear accelerator and the spatial distributions of bremsstrahlung radiation in the slabs were measured with the activation technique. From the measured activities, the bremsstrahlung spectra were evaluated with the LYRA unfolding code. The longitudinal and the lateral distributions of bremsstrahlung flux were obtained by integrating the evaluated spectra from 5.5 to 22 MeV. The iso-flux distribution of bremsstrahlung flux in the slab was obtained by interpolating the integrated values.
