Abstract

Different methods for measurement of nonuniformity of fracture in structural steels with heterogeneous structure are studied including the partition of space into Voronoy polyhedrons for measuring the differences in random sets of points in a plane, synthesis of a 3D-picture from several 2D ones (stereophotogrammetry) and indirect analysis of 3D-peculiarities from a 2D-shot, i.e., a “plane” image, for reconstructing scenarios of crack propagation, and solution of problems of linear regression with the use of the principle of maximum likelihood.
