Abstract

A new method is proposed for determining the magnetic susceptibility and Curie constants of various colloidal solutions in sealed glass volumes (ferrofluid cells) with an error of no more than 1.0% even with a small thickness of the layer of solution. It is shown that intensive stirring of the solution is necessary for excluding changes in the Curie constants as the cell temperature increases.
