Abstract
This paper discusses methods of measuring the light-scattering coefficient in objectives of various types and sizes. A description is given of an apparatus for measuring it in compact narrow-field objectives designed to operate at a finite distance from the objective to the object. An energy calculation, an optimization criterion, and the experimental results are presented.
