Abstract

A microcomputer-based parameter identification method is presented to measure the stator resistance, stator leakage inductance, rotor resistance, rotor leakage inductance and magnetizing inductance of an induction motor. The microcomputer-based measurement system includes hardware and software. The hardware uses the microcomputer, analog-to-digital converter and computer I/O interface IC as a data acquisition system to measure the applied stator voltage and the resulting stator current. The software used is a parameter identification method for calculating the parameters of the induction motor. An experiment described shows the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed method and supports the application capability. >
