Abstract
This paper presents experimental research to determine the charge of individual dust grains on a lunar regolith simulant surface immersed in plasma. The results show that, at similar surface charging potentials, both the charge and the charge-to-mass ratio of dust grains on a JSC-1A lunar regolith simulant surface is about two orders of magnitude smaller than that of a single, isolated dust particle.
