Abstract

This chapter presents the first measurement of dijet angular distributions in pp collisions at \(\sqrt{\it s} = 7\,\hbox{TeV}\) by the ATLAS detector. The dataset consists of about 31 million events that were recorded in 2010 during the months April and May. The dijet angular distributions have been measured in the mass bins \(340 \,{<}\, M_{jj} \,{<}\, 520\,\hbox{GeV}\) and \(520 \,{<}\, M_{jj} \,{<}\, 680\,\hbox{GeV},\) and have been compared to Monte Carlo simulations.
