Abstract

The research aims to develop a cognitive performance test in wrestling and to determine the effectiveness of applying cognitive performance in some wrestling holds for students. The research community was determined from the third stage students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Babylon for the academic year (2021-2022), and it might be (153) students. The sample size for the exploratory experiment was ten students, and the sample size for building the cognitive achievement test was ninety students. Among the findings of the study are the paragraphs of the cognitive achievement test in wrestling for students in the third stage of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Babylon, as well as the emergence of good results in the cognitive achievement in wrestling for students in the third stage. Recommendations that have emerged from the research include the adoption of the cognitive achievement test created by the researchers in this study and the need to effectively subject students to constructive assessment tests.
