Abstract

Background: The seated saline suppression test (SSST) is a confirmatory test for diagnosis of primary aldosteronism. Discordant results have been recently observed for LC-MS/MS compared to direct immunoassay in SSST patients.1 This study investigates the concordance of LC-MS/MS and immunoassay results after dichloromethane extraction for the SSST.
