Abstract
We present experimentally obtained rate coefficients for atom-atom collisions for Δn = 0 transitions of neutral helium. Results for the transitions 3 3 S - 3 3 P, 3 3 S - 3 3 D and 3 3 P - 3 3 D were acquired with the help of a laser perturbation method in a pulsed helium discharge. The filling pressure was in the range of 400 to 1100 Pa. The obtained data are compared with experimental data from the literature.
