Abstract
The measurement, two-dimensional modulation, and even three-dimensional modulation are three essential components in light field modulation. In this work, we propose a method that can measure and shape the circular Airy vortex (CAV) simultaneously by using the cross-phase for the first time. Firstly, we offer a way to measure the topological charges of CAVs with the low-order cross-phase in the autofocusing area. Secondly, we suggest a way to shape intensity distributions of CAVs with the high-order cross-phase in the autofocusing area and show its asymmetric modulation ability. Furthermore, we discuss the influence of parameter u on a CAV in the shaping process. On this basis, we investigate a method to independently control the focal depth of already generated CAVs and show the possibility of multi-singularity manipulation. This work provides an alternative approach to measure and shape a CAV, facilitating the 2D and even 3D optical micro-manipulation applications.
