Abstract

Densities and viscosities of aqueous potassium citrate (PC) solutions have been determined at 293.15, 303.15, 313.15 and 323.15K. Surface tensions of aqueous PC solutions have been measured at 293.15K. Physical properties of aqueous PC solutions were correlated with the measured data in this work. The densities, viscosities and surface tensions of the PC solutions increase as the PC concentration increases. Densities, viscosities, and surface tensions of aqueous PC solutions have been correlated with molality and temperature. The correlation equations for each physical property can offer additional data for aqueous solutions of PC.
