Abstract

ABSTRACT Minimum Miscibility Pressures (MMP) for 102 combinations of oils, temperatures, and solvents were observed with a Rising Bubble Apparatus. The data were represented with a 4.5% standard deviation by an equation which needs only the solvent composition, oil C7+ fraction molecular weight, and the pseudoreduced temperature. A slightly better standard deviation of 3.5% was obtained by extending Peng's procedure for critical points of mixtures to calculate MMP.
