Abstract

Stark widths and shifts of nine O II lines were measured at electron temperature 54 000 K and electron density 2.8 × 10 23m −3 in a linear, low-pressure, pulsed arc operated in a nitrogen-oxygen mixture. Our data are compared with values calculated on the basis of semiclassical approximation.
