Abstract

The simulation of hydraulic transition process of pumped storage power station is the premise to guide the design and optimization of water conveyance system and ensure the safe and stable operation of the system. In this paper, the mathematical model of hydraulic transition process simulation calculation of Xianju pumped storage power station is established. Taking the guide vane opening and closing law actually used in Xianju pumped storage power station as the boundary, the field measured data and numerical simulation calculation results of single machine load rejection and single machine pumping outage of the power station are compared and analyzed respectively. The two are in good agreement, which verifies the accuracy of numerical simulation. Based on the measured results and numerical simulation calculation results of single machine, a correction method is put forward according to the most unfavorable correction principle, so as to predict the extreme values of the parameters under extreme working conditions such as double machine load rejection and double machine pumping outage. The correction method provides a theoretical basis for the long-term and safe operation of the power station, and it has important guiding significance for the inversion calculation and extreme value prediction of the hydraulic transition process of similar projects.
