MEANS OF THE ARCHITECTURAL EXPRESSION HARMONIZATION ON THE CASE OF THE SACRAL OBJECTS BY ARCHITECTOR OLEH SLIETSOV

Abstract

The article deals with the main types of laws that are the basis and necessary condition for the presence of an architectural composition. These include symmetry, metro-rhythmic and proportional patterns. At the same time, these patterns are the main compositional means of expressiveness and harmonization of form. A brief history of the development of theoretical research in the treatises of famous architects and theorists of the architecture of the past is given in brief about the importance of using these patterns in design. What is the basis of the creative process at birth of an architectural form - mathematical calculation or creative feeling? On the question of the primacy of theoretical or empirical design methods can give an analysis of the drawings of the facades of the temples, authored by Professor of Architecture Oleg Sleptsov. The analysis was conducted in two directions: the search for the most common proportional relations (simple and irrational) and the method of triangulation.
