Abstract

The electric and magnetic mean square radii of strange, charmed and bottom hyperons are calculated in the extension of Skyrme's soliton model that includes a description of the heavy-flavour hyperons. The lagrangian density includes a symmetry-breaking term which takes into account the different values of the decay constants in the different flavour sectors. The results for the strange hyperons are in good qualitative agreement with the predictions of the bag model.
