Abstract
Slave-boson and slave-fermion approaches to the holon in the t- J model are confronted. An attractive holon-holon interaction mediated by paired spinons is derived beyond the simple mean-field approximation. Generalized mean-field equations involving spinon pairing and holon pairing for superconductivity are given at both assignments of statistics.
