Abstract

The American Association of Neurological Surgeons recommends maintaining a mean arterial pressure (MAP) of 85 or greater after spinal cord injury (SCI), despite relatively weak evidence. This target can be difficult to meet and often puts significant burden of cost and attention on the healthcare system.
