Abstract
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) accounts for about 15% of lung cancers and is characterized by aggressive disease with rapid doubling time, early metastasis and frequent brain metastasis. 5 yr OS is only 20-25% for LD but only about 2% for ED SCLC.
