Abstract
In this article, a new control algorithm of MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is proposed. The proposed algorithm takes the interaction between solar arrays, photovoltaic inverter, MPPT control, dc side dynamic model of solar arrays and the light intensity of the solar arrays into consideration. The algorithm is based on Lyapunov model reference adaptive control (MRAC). The algorithm provides a new method which could estimate the optimal output voltage, the optimal output current and maximum output power of solar arrays and photovoltaic inverter. Finally, an experimental platform which is mainly composed of DSP (TMS320F2812) and Cuk converter has been designed and the results of simulation and experiment show the feasibility and validity of the algorithm.
