Abstract

The paper focuses mainly on the maximum control method of boost chopper circuit based PMSG wind turbine. It includes a full bridge rectifier, boost chopper circuit, and a two-level voltage converter. Therefore, this PMSG system can directly connect with the gird; and the active power and reactive power can directly control by the grid voltage oriented vector control. The maximum power control method of the boost chopper based PMSG was studied to charge a constant resistance. In this study, the maximum power control is improved to apply in gird connection system.
