Abstract
Besides transmission efficiency and beam collection efficiency, the distance of microwave wireless power transfer (MWPT) is another important concern and should be extended in moving targets wireless power transfer applications. However, few studies focus on the analysis of the maximum distance in MWPT. In this paper, method to maximize the distance of microwave wireless power transfer between circular antennas with a given beam collection efficiency (BCE) is introduced in Fresnel region. The optimization model between circular antennas with Gaussian distribution is established and simulated. Afterwards, numerical experiments on the optimum Gaussian parameter and maximum transmitting distance are performed. Lastly, the normalized E-field distribution more examples are calculated to analyze the variables concerning the maximum transmitting distance.
