Abstract

The influence of stochastic factors on power system operation is increasing because of the high penetration rate of renewable energy, which makes it necessary to study the control of stochastic power system. The quasi-Hamiltonian equations of controlled multi-machine power system are built. The stochastic averaging method of quasi-Hamiltonian system is applied to obtain the average Ito function of the system based on the energy function. A dynamic programming equation is established with the maximum reliability of the bounded fluctuation region as its control objective to obtain the optimal control law of system. A conditional reliability function is introduced to measure the reliability of bounded fluctuation region, which is calculated by analytical method, and it is compared with the result of Monte Carlo method. Simulative results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
