Abstract

Presacrococcygeal mass in a neonate always creates diagnostic confusion due to various etiologies. Large masses interfere with labour management and development of pelvic spine and organs. Awareness about prenatal radiological diagnosis of sacral lesion in fetus is needed for earlier and better management of mass in postnatal period. Here, we report a case of neonate with a large sacrococcygeal mass noticed in antenatal period and diagnosed as cystic sacrococcygeal teratoma by histopathology.
