Maturation of fetuses in pregnant women with diabetes

Abstract

Physiological maturation of fetuses to life can be fast, regular or slow and therefore of labor determines not only whole future life of every newborns but his mother and his family in consequences too. That is why modern obstetrics requires prognosis of individual date of labor and conformation of fetal maturity of newborn directly after labor, not only degree of respiratory adaptation in Apgar scale. Especially in pregnant women with diabetes, prognosis of date of labor must be based on ability to self – dependent life achievement by fetus (maturity–K rate 6–12 points), not only on his body mass and completion of 37 weeks of gravidity
