Abstract

Objective: MMPs have been proposed to be active in tissue remodeling and luteolysis. Our purpose was to determine if different stimulation protocols change the concentrations of the various MMPs in the follicular fluid. We studied MMP-1, -2 and -9 activity levels in the follicular fluid of infertile women stimulated with clomiphene citrate (cc), FSH combined with GnRH agonist down regulation and control with no ovulation induction medication.
