Abstract

If computers are introduced in mathematics education in primary school, didactical and pedagogical aspects have to be considered. In some cases computers can be a helpful tool to develop skills and concepts, but in other cases it would be much better to go on without computers. Some examples of useful and useless CAI are brought together, with suggestions on how to create an appropriate classroom environment.
