Abstract

The mathematics exhibit at the century of crogress exhibition in chicago during the summer of 1933 consisted of two sections: A) an immense octagonal prism, on the lateral faces of which were notations concerning the various subdivisions of mathematics together with slides, illustrating the development and history of algebra and geometry; B) a collection of nineteen exhibits, illustrating various interesting mathematical principles and practical applications of mathematics.
