Abstract

On the basis of a differential equation of fractional order, we consider the influence of fractal environment on the growth of small cloud drops at the initial stage of the existence of the cloud during condensation growth and gravitational coagulation of droplets. We also build a model of the electrodynamic coagulation drops in a cloudy environment with a fractal structure under the action of an electric field. Numerical experiments were conducted for assessing the impact of the fractality of the environment on the growth of the cloud particles with various combinations of microphysical parameters. We describe the dependence of overall growth of a cloud on various parameters of the fractal environment.
