Abstract

A series of experimental data on threshold energy levels of cornea damage by IR radiation pulses with duration shorter than 1 μs is generalized. Mathematical modeling of the radiation energy thresholds is based on the concept of the removal of a surface layer of the cornea tissue without a phase transition as a result of the work of pressure forces.
