Abstract
A mathematical model for the alternating current modulation of a rotating disk electrode, taking into account the surface concentration fluctuations, the double-layer capacity, the ohmic resistance, the concentration overpotential, was analyzed. Numerical computations were performed for the dissolution and the deposition of copper from an acidified copper sulfate solution, and the results were compared to the experimental studies from the literature.
