Abstract
The paper presents computer simulation results of force parameter investigations (rolling pressure, axial force in tube) for cold rolling in pilger mill. Comparison of calculation results with measurements on a real object allows to select after optimalization fast and sufficiently exact method for determining these parameters. The attempt of the deformation zone modeling by solution of a spatial problem by FEM is described. It was pointed out that there is possibility to apply this model to analysis of tool shaping.
