Abstract

The paper investigates and formalizes the development of a mathematical model to assess the incorrectness of the problem of distributing the planned volume of gas over the gas supply network. The conceptual features of the mathematical model of the problem under consideration determine its formalization in an incorrect formulation. The investigated gas supply network is presented in the form of an expanded graph, the arcs of which are indicated by input technological indicators - gas pressure and volume. It is required to determine the gas consumption in the corresponding sections of the gas supply network. As a method for solving the problem, the work uses the method of indefinite Lagrange multipliers. Newton's first interpolation formula is used to linearize the problem. The computational experiment is based on the method of enumerating options. The presented program for automating the calculation has been tested both on experimental and real production data. The obtained calculation results are shown in the program interface and practically agree with the experts' estimates.
