Abstract

By using the sensitivity analysis result of transient stability margin on node MVA power and the turns of transformers, the mathematical model for security constrained prerescheduling and corrective rescheduling suitable for noncontract and contract market is established. The objective function is to minimize the total reactive and active power electricity fee. The proposed mathematical model can be used for the calculation of the security cost in order to improve the system transient stability. The security constraints by using stability margin sensitivity are more reliable than by using the tie-line power flow. The economic dispatch of MVA power is more optimal than active power dispatch. Practical system analysis is presented.
