Abstract

A compartmental model of covid-19 with double dose vaccine based on a system of non-linear ordinary differential equations is formulated and theoretically analyzed. The model is divided into eight compartmental classes, namely, susceptible (S), first dose vaccinated ( second dose vaccinated exposed (E), asymptomatic (A), symptomatic (I), hospitalized (H), and recovery (R). There are several kinds of approval vaccines, and each has a different efficacy and mechanism of action for reducing the outbreak of epidemic. Fortunately, there is a mathematical precise scale can be used as an indicator to determine whether the disease will be eradicated or persisted in the population, that is a basic reproduction number The next generation method (NGM) is used to compute , before vaccination, and after two doses were taken. Comparison the results shows -clearly- the positive effect of the intrinsic efficacy of vaccine on reducing , and hence on eradication the epidemic.
