Abstract

Hepatitis C virus (HCV) affects approximately 8% of pregnant people and should be screened for during every pregnancy. Risk of vertical transmission (VT) is about 6% but has not been well quantified based on maternal HCV RNA viral load (VL). We sought to assess thisbased on VL as a continuous variable and other potential maternal risk factors.
