Abstract
Maternal readmissions are a major source of pregnancy associated hospitalization costs. In addition, patients who are readmitted may be at a higher risk for maternal and neonatal morbidity and identifying at-risk patients would be useful in designing obstetric interventions. We sought to identify risk factors for postpartum hospital readmission as well as perinatal outcomes in patient with readmissions at a large, tertiary care center.
